 To close out the week here at Effing The Dog™, I thought I'd post the second in The EffTD™ Interview Series, which is with Brick Andrews of The 4 Hour work Week Journal blog.  Earlier in the extensive history of EffingTheDog.com, I discussed the truth behind meditation. For those of you that aren't in the loop, you can check out the post here. For those of you that are "looped in", I'm going to impart some brief pieces of advice on how to be more effective in this all-important habit. I must stress that you really need to learn how to meditate initially before you take on these tidbits of wisdom.

 In The 4 Hour Work Week, Tim Ferriss recommends that you go on a media diet, and take in only information that you actually need. This diet includes reading. Now, while I don't condone reading, I beg to differ with Mr. Ferriss' opinion - which I can because it's just an opinion. You see, information is incredibly important in today's society. If it wasn't, why would we have The Information Highway so the stuff can move at a fast pace? At best, we'd need The Information Pony Express, or if we wanted to have inconsistent delivery of said information in more contemporary times, The Information Postal Service. If you're reading this right now, I know you're not paying attention to Mr. Ferriss' advice - or already have and decided that Effing The Dog™ is more to your liking. I also know you know how to use the Internet, or have someone looking over your shoulder that does. But there is a tried, tested and true tool that you can also use to get pretty much every piece of information and misinformation out there: Television.

 Today I did a quick interview with David Bohl of SlowDownFast ...I'm sure there is irony in there somewhere.
David is teaching others to find out what is at the heart of one's "best life", and he has many tools to assist in the process. As a matter of fact, he's even got me intrigued - so much so that I may actually pick up his books and read it (unless he has it in an audio format, which is my preferred way of reading.) I'll post a transcript of the interview here at EffingTheDog.com, but you'll hear it in all its glory when The EffTD™ Podcast debuts this Friday. Yes, I said THIS Friday - we've pushed the debut of the podcast ahead a week due to popular demand! (Not to mention that my cousin, Xerxes, is chomping at the bit to get my voice unleashed over the Internet.)
